I first started taking photographs when I was 12 years old in 1956, after spending 7/6d (37.5p) of my 10/- (50p) pocket money on a VP twin pocket camera from the local Woolworths store..
For Christmas in 1957 I received a Johnsons developing and printing outfit and never looked back. I worked proffesionally during the 1960s, but even after a significant career change in 1969 photography has remained a serious hobby for me ever since. My interests have been in all areas of photography including black and white silver gelatine, alternate process printing and more recently digital imaging. Currently my main areas of work are, digital landscape photography, digital infrared photography and black and white film photography.
